The role:

A young, friendly family with 4 kids is seeking a French nanny to join their household team in Gstaad, Switzerland, starting in June 2022.

The French language nanny will be taking over from a maternity nurse and working together with the current nanny, on a 5/2 schedule. There will be a handover with the maternity to nurse, who will leave in September; then the two nannies will work together when school starts.



The children for this role are girls aged 6 and 8, a boy aged 3.5 and a 1-year old baby, so the nanny should be experienced and confident with baby care. The children are active so the nanny should be too.

General nanny duties should be taken care of, but the candidate should also be comfortable with driving in Switzerland and ready to live-in in the family home. A separate floor with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom will be provided. The nanny may be required to provide meals and homework report as needed. Otherwise daily tasks will include, helping with food and hygiene, dressing, general organisation and childcare.

The candidate:

A good personality fit is key for this role. The family would ideally like to find someone fun and active, happy and energetic; a good energy in their house. The candidate should have native-level fluency in French language and the right to work in Switzerland/ the EU.

The nanny should be a driver, should have experience with babies and a minimum of 2 years’ nannying under their belt.



The offer:

-5/2 work schedule with time off when the kids are at school and additional mornings/ evenings off on the 3 days per week when both nannies work
-This job comes with a standard Swiss working contract. All income will be declared and official.
-Salary will be 5500-6000 CHF gross (take home of around 3500 CHF after taxes)
